Sign the Pledge: “I Stand with Refugees”

The U.S. government has abandoned refugees and immigrants, but HIAS never will.

For more than half of U.S. history, HIAS has been at the docks, at the bus stations, and at the airports to welcome immigrants with compassion and warmth. We know that America is at its best when we show up for our neighbors, when we embrace the opportunity that welcome provides.

As we move into the second year of the Trump administration, the challenges will persist, but we will too — fighting the same fight we have championed for more than a century.

There has never been a more important moment to stand up. Take a moment to add your name to our pledge:

I stand with refugees.

The U.S. government has abandoned refugees and immigrants, but I will not. I believe America is at its best when we show up for our neighbors and embrace the opportunity that welcome provides.

As we move into the second year of the Trump administration, I commit to standing alongside organizations like HIAS that fight for refugee rights — in courtrooms, in Congress, at our borders, and around the world.

I will not sit idly by. I will engage my community, fight harmful policies, and work to ensure that refugees and displaced people do not face this moment alone.

Together, we can build a better world.
