California welcomes more refugees than any other state in the United States, and right now, we can have an impact on the level of services they receive as they begin to rebuild their lives.
Right now, most refugees only receive 90 days of federally subsidized case management. We know from experience in states like Utah, Colorado, and Oregon that expanded case management is often required to successfully access permanent housing, secure employment, navigate health and legal systems, enroll in schools, and so much more.
